I understand making the first steps towards getting help can be daunting. You may not know what to expect so I do my best to put you at ease when you first contact me.
I offer relaxed practical sometimes even fun sessions which are warm and non-judgmental. I am an Integrated counsellor using a range of approaches:
Person Centred Counselling
You the client is at the centre of my service, non-directive, offering empathy, congruence and positive regard.
Focusing on the present moment, emphasizing growth and self- actualization
Understanding long standing conflicts from the past, bringing the unconscious to the conscious.
Looking at the whole, finding new perspectives or seeing the bigger picture
Solution focused – changing the way you think and achieving a full potential express.
Walk and Talk Therapy
A mindfulness-based therapy, release physical tension, breathe deep and receive mind, body and feeling insight in a different way.
Using objects or art to express your emotions and thoughts when words are difficult.
